In line with the GUC vision, the Faculty of Dentistry, German University in Cairo, aims to establish a leading center of excellence in education and scientific research at a local, regional, and international levels while addressing the unique dental healthcare needs of our communities by fostering strong ties between Egypt and Germany
Objectives:
The strategic goals and objectives of the Faculty of Dentistry are mainly focused to fulfill its vision and mission, so as to reach:
- Implementing innovative teaching methodologies and incorporating modern technologies to improve the quality of dental education and ensure graduates meet national, regional and international standards.
- Enhancing preclinical and clinical experience by providing hands-on training in state-of-the-art dental laboratories and clinics thus ensuring a competitive graduate equipped with optimum skills.
- Fostering a culture of research excellence within the faculty, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and increasing funding and resources for impactful dental research projects.
- Creating a conducive work environment to attract qualified staff members and administrative personnel, who are given opportunities for growth and to realize their maximum potential.
- Providing sustainable healthcare services as well as conducting oral health awareness campaigns and collaborating with local health authorities.
- Ensuring the continual quality improvement following quality standards nationally and internationally to elevate the competitive performance of the institution.
